Creative Alternatives?

There are a number of things you can do instead of having a traditional wedding guestbook.  The problem is, sometimes you want to still have the functionality of knowing which guests were at the wedding while allowing for a bit more creativity.

One idea is to have people sign something… unconventional.  For example, you could get a large photograph of the couple and have people sign that.  Alternatively, you could have people sign some kind of article of clothing, such as an apron.  If you wanted to REALLY go wild, you could even have people sign something that was IN the wedding.  For example, if there is a detachable part of the wedding dress, that could be signed.  If not, you could always order an extra bridesmaid’s dress, and have people sign THAT, using colored pen.

Do you have any suggestions? Let others hear them and write a comment!

Interesting Idea

Here’s an idea that I just heard about:  Get a nice picture book from the location your honeymoon is going to be in, and have the guests sign that with a gold or silver pen.  Put a note by the book telling people to pick out and sign next to their favorite picture.  People will know where you’re going on your honeymoon, and you will have a lot of fun looking through the pictures and signatures later.

You should take care in picking out a great wedding guestbook.

You should really take the time to decide on what you really want. Sometimes, a little thought can create an experience that people will really remember. For example, I recently went to a wedding where the guestbook was little hearts that you signed and put onto a small tree. It was around christmas time, so it fit with the season.

It was a creative touch that the couple picked out that gave their wedding something unique.

Anyway, you might find some of these helpful
